My main areas of interest are landscape and seascape, and in particular the coastal areas where they meet. I am interested in exploring how these areas have been marked and changed by human activity over time and the impact of climate change on their increasing fragility.

I also enjoy exploring the colours and textures of the natural world, and seeing how changes in light throughout the day effect our perception of the landscape around us.

I have a particular passion for trees and woodland, exploring their role in the landscape and our interaction with them, visually and through writings, as well as documenting the rich diversity of their ecological cycles.
