Welcome to Guildhall Studio
Guildhall Studio has been founded by John Martyn to display some of his favourite photographs.
These photographs have been taken over many years and the camera has been a constant companion. Enjoy a visit to the studio and take time to wander around.
John Martyn has also created the Guildhall Studio photograph books. Take a seat in the studio lounge and browse through these books. You can select any of these photographs and John will work with you and a local framing company to have these framed to your specification. He will also be delighted to work with you on any specific photographs you would like to commission.
Guildhall Studio has also been founded to show the work of local artists and crafts people. The first collections being presented are Fran Made Crafts by Francesca Wallace and Maisie Moffatt Art and Photography.
We are very pleased to present two new exhibitions of work, the first entitled “Breathe” by Sandy Miles, and the second entitled “When The Punters Have Almost Gone” by Kim Ian Bell. You can see more about the exhibitions on our Events page.
We also now have a wide selection of cards in the Guildhall Studio card collection. These are all images by John Martyn, Maisie Moffatt and Francesca Wallace (FranMadeCrafts) and most recently a new selection of cards by Juli Feyer who was recently accepted as an exhibitor at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2021 in London. We are very pleased to be able to display and sell her beautiful cards in the Studio.
All the photographs and cards are available for you to buy at the studio.
We look forward to welcoming you to Guildhall Studio.
